The Card Concept #72

 

Hello....don't you just love rainboots? I love mine, just wish they had polka dots on them, but they are bright red with cute buckles. I love the inspiration photo and that boot filled with pretty spring flowers. I pulled out an older stamp set from PTI, Green Thumb and made my sweet rain boot and added a few flowers, some bright yellow polka dot patterned paper (you can never have too many right?) and finished it off with a purple twine bow. PTI Celebrating the Past, Present & Future 2007

Hello....popping in with a quick post for today's challenge at PTI Celebrating the Past, Present & Future 2007. I had one of the stamp sets featured today, Green Thumb and have used it maybe once or twice. I love rain boots and would love to have a pair just like this (polka dots are so much fun) minus the flowers. My rain boots are plain red, not near as fun as this one. ColourQ #291 and Happy Little Stampers - Sketch Challenge

It's Tuesday once again and time for a new color palette from ColourQ #291...it is a fun color combination and thought these different size dots would be fun to use. Once again I used my sweet MISTI, I love being able to stamp the image 2 or 3 times to get a vivid/bright color. I hope you will be able to find the time to play along with us this week...I always love seeing your wonderful creations. 

I am also entering this card in the challenge at Happy Little Stampers, this is my first time playing along with them and what a fun sketch they have!

Happy Friday!!!! Today's contest at PTI is a timed challenge, you have 7 minutes to grab 7 different card ingredients and make your card in 17 minutes.  I have a few cards to share with you tonight and I was so surprised at how difficult it was to limit my supplies to only 7 items!  No wonder I always have a huge mess on my craft table!  Anyway, I have to say it was a fun challenge and to watch the timer tick off the seconds and minutes on my phone, I finally had to turn my phone over so I could not see, that was really cutting into my card making time.

I did not record the time it took to make all of my cards...but I will say the more I made the quicker I got. I was taking close to the full 17 minutes on my first two cards and needed to speed things up just a bit to get in a few more cards. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!
