Simply Create Too - Special Occasion Challenge #71

Happy Wednesday...I have one card to share today and it is for the new challenge at Simply Create Too. I can always use special occasion cards and for this challenge I decided to make a wedding card and use a die that rarely gets used.  And since it is a wedding card I decided to bling it out a bit. I love this silver glitter paper, so fun. I added some purple flowers to give it a bit of color and I am very happy with the way it looks. Papertrey Ink - June 2013 Blog Hop

This month's theme for Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop is Gold! Not a color I use much at all, so I have to think a bit outside the box.  I was hoping to find a piece of nice shiny gold metallic card stock but of course that was not going to happen, so I used the piece with a bit of a mat finish and it looks fine to me.  I pulled out some gold embossing powder and a few gold brads that has been hanging around for sometime.  My goal was to use what I had on hand for this card, I did not want to have to go shopping for anything.  So see, quick and easy!
