Simply Create Too #101 - Something New

Hello...the week is just about over and then a weekend of crafting is ahead. Looking forward to spending lots of time in my craft room. I am still working hard on getting caught up with my commenting, so thank you all of your patience. 

My card is for the current challenge at Simply Create Too - Something New. My something new is XOXO from PTI. I used red embossing powder for the hearts and some wonderful silver glitter tape for Be Mine. So sorry it is hard to see that sparkle in the photo. I hope you will find the time to play along.

Simply Create Too #99 - Snow Snow Snow!

Happy Friday! Hope all my friends in the States had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was nice and quiet and so much yummy goodies to eat. I have one card to share with you today, it is for the current challenge at Simply Create Too - Snow Snow Snow! I made my card with those beautiful snowflakes from MB (thanks Darnell). I wanted them to sparkle but did not want everything covered in glitter. So I ran the flakes through my Xyron and the glitter stuck to the edges of the snowflakes, just the right amount, but it is hard to see all the sparkle in my photos! Yipppeeee! It's Friday...so happy. We have a fun weekend planned, tomorrow is Record Store Day so will be getting up at O dark thirty to head to Haight St. in San Francisco to wait in line at Amoeba Records for at least 3 hours. We do this every year and have a blast, we all have a list of what special releases we need to find. And after that we walk down Haight St in search of a well deserved lunch.

I have one card to share today and it is for the current challenge over at Simply Create Too, no stamps or digital images...do you know how hard that is??? I decided to put Lucy to work (my Silhouette and yes you should name them). I purchased all the sweet Disney type princesses and feel in love with this sweet little Ariel. I was a bit stumped because I do not own much for either, so I checked to see what cut files I had on Lucy and there it was a chocolate bunny complete with Easter eggs. Hello and Happy Wednesday...I have 2 cards to share today for a few challenges. My first card is for the new challenge at Simply Create Too #77 - Mother's Day card. I only have one Mother's Day sentiment and it is not a favorite of mine so I thought this little sentiment from PTI's Side by Side would be the perfect stand in.I used the technique that Jennifer McGuire shares in her video here, it was so much fun to make.  I hope you will be able to find the time to play along with us.  I am also entering this card in the new challenge at CASology - NBUS with Darnell! My second card was on my blog to post yesterday, not sure what I did wrong but my card just seemed to disappear. I loved the colors so much for this week's ColourQ #275 challenge that I made two cards. So my fingers are crossed that this time my card shows up.

Happy Wednesday...I have one card to share today and it is for the new challenge at Simply Create Too. I can always use special occasion cards and for this challenge I decided to make a wedding card and use a die that rarely gets used.  And since it is a wedding card I decided to bling it out a bit. I love this silver glitter paper, so fun. I added some purple flowers to give it a bit of color and I am very happy with the way it looks. Yipppeee, it is Friday and that means the weekend is almost here. My new job has me on my feet just about all day, I end up walking between 3-5 miles just at work (thanks to my fitbit for keeping track) so I am looking forward to a nice, low key weekend. Simply Create Too - Something Old/Vintage #67

Happy Saturday...just one card to share today and it is for the current challenge over at Simply Create Too #67. I don't do old/vintage type cards well, I spent some time going through all my stamps and finally came up with this sweet old Santa. I just love the sweet look on his face and he reminded me of an old world type Santa. Don't you agree? You have plenty of time to play along...I look forward to seeing all your fabulous cards!
