Halloween

Hello...popping in today with 2 Halloween cards for 2 challenges over at Papertrey Ink. First up is one for Melissa's Fab Friday - Snow Globe 

My snow globe is fill with a spider and it's sparkly web! I used Joyful Jars stamp and dies, Spooky Sweets II, and Tricky Trios. And the sequins are my version of the snow falling into the jar.

Next up is my card for What Do I Do With This? 

I used Bright Buttercup card stock and inked with Carved Pumpkin Oxide. I used Spooky Sweets II stamps and black embossing powder.

Halloween Treats

Hello....popping in today with my project for Ink To Paper's - Are You Ready For Halloween????

I pulled my all time favorite stamp set from Papertrey Ink - Spooky Sweets ll 

This was actually the very first stamp set from Papertrey Ink and I NEEDED it for a Halloween goodies I wanted to make for my class back in 2009. So I purchased and I cringed at the $24.00 

price tag but I will say that not only have I gotten my money's worth from this set but that the $24.00 is just a tiny drop in the bucket to everything that followed this purchase!

ATSM #343 - Holiday

Hello...popping in today with my card for the new challenge at ATMS #343 - Holiday. I decided to go with Halloween for my holiday. I had this sweet little haunted mansion that I cut while visiting Joyce a few years back, Marybeth brought lots of her wonderful dies for us to play with. I have been waiting for the perfect time to pull this out! I paired it with stamps from Papertrey Ink, Spooky Sweets II, sentiment from Reverse Confetti, Spooky and the web from Kerri Bradford's Hocus Pocus. Can't wait to see your holiday creations! Happy Little Stampers - Silhouette September 2017

Just love this sweet flying witch from PTI's Spooky Sweets II and thought her silhouette would be so perfect for this challenge underneath Taylored Expression's Graphic Halloween Greetings. Make It Monday #295: Z- Fold Card

Hello...popping in with my card for this week's PTI's Make It Monday #295: Z-Fold Card. This was one fun card to make. I love Halloween and thought this collection of dies and stamps from PTI would be just perfect for a sweet spooky card. I used Spooky Sweets II stamps and the dies are Picket Fence, Spider Web (I added the glitter), Spooky Sweets II, and Full Moon Clouds, all from PTI. 

I have been working hard on getting caught up with commenting...once again I am behind and trying hard to get up to date. I thought being retired and having all the time in the world would be a fabulous thing but it was driving me crazy...I needed something more to do so when I saw an add on Instagram for part time job openings at my favorite fabric store in Berkeley, Stonemountain Fabrics I decided to apply and see what happens. Last week was my first week, it's a nice part time job 2-3 days a week for about 5-6 hours each day, so perfect in my book! It's the perfect fit if you ask me!

Cupcake Inspirations #419 - World of Wizards and Witches

Hello...popping in today with a spooky little project for the new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations #419 - Worlds of Wizards and Witches. I did not have any wizards so I pulled out this wonderful witch from PTI's Spooky Sweets II, just the love her look and added the moon shaped stamp from Brushed Off! I case'd this wonderful treat holder that Tracey made for me some time back but instead of Christmas, I turned it into a Halloween candy holder, complete with a few mini KitKat bars. 

I added a pocket on the inside that holds 3 mini KitKat bars, so much fun to make. The dies on the outside of the tent are also from Reverse Confetti, School and Love Note.
