May Waltzingmouse Christmas Card Challenge

First let me wish all of the mom's a Happy Mother's Day, hoping that your day was just fabulous. It's time again for another Christmas card challenge with Waltzingmouse and this months challenge involves using some chip board of some kind, store bought or homemade.  I don't work much with chip board so I did struggle a bit trying to decide what to do.  I did not have anything store bought that was anywhere close to Christmas so I bit the bullet and made my own.  I punched out a small buckle from chip board and card stock to hold the twill ribbon at the bottom of the card.  Then I started to go through all of my WMS that had any kind of Christmas sayings on them and thought of making a "subway art" type of image.  There were still a few holes that needed something so I decided to add a few pearls. Hope you like it and thanks for taking a peek!

Just for fun

  1. What a fabulous and fun Christmas card. I love the pattern you created with all those festive holiday words, and your buckle is the best.

  2. What an elegant Christmas card Kim, love the word collage and that buckle is fantastic!

  3. Wow, Kim, love all those individual sentiments stamped together to make a really great layer of patterned paper! If I didn't know better, I would think you bought that paper. Love the twill ribbon and buckle. Great job on the challenge.

  4. The stamped sentiments with the pearls is beautiful! It does look like designer paper. Love the buckle--very creative!! And the printed background paper is perfect, too. Great card!!

  5. Kim love all the sentiments stamped together. The buckle is just way to cute! Pretty background paper too.
Hope you had a nice Mother’s Day!
