Happy New Year!

Happy New Year...wishing you a year filled with joy and crafts. I have one card to share tonight for 2 challenges, Darnell's NBUS and Inkspirational - Photo Inspiration. Thanks to Ardyth for the lesson in blending distress inks and for encouraging me to get all the little mini inks and the wonderful tins to store them, I am set for night sky (at least to start with). They are so much fun to play with! I did not have any small firework stamps so I used a little flower burst stamp from PTI's Green Thumb stamp set. My cityscape die I have had forever but never used it and after watching a video from Jennifer McGuire, I thought it would be just perfect for a New Year's card.
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your day.

  14. Well done, my friend!!! You've waaaaay many mad skills and this is just one more in your repertoire! It's gorgeous. This is the perfect celebratory card. Don't forget, that some of the actual fireworks we see in the sky are called chrysanthemums! So I'm going with "brilliant" for your use of the flowers in the sky!! LOVE this. You just rock. No question about it! Bev

  16. Kim, what a terrific job you've done on the city nightscape. Your blending is lovely, and such a clever idea to use your tiny flowers as fireworks. Created a perfect look & I'm loving that cityscraper die. TFS the link to J.McGuire, I'll check that out! Wishing you a blessed 2015 in whatever ways you may be needing. Also will be checking the NBUS challenge now that I'm back home with all my toys! TFS & Hugs.
