Colour Me #67 and showCASe your style #13

Happy Sunday...it seems like it has been forever since I have made a card to post that was just for fun. I feel like I have lost some of my mojo or just not feeling crafty. I fell at work on last Monday, lost my balance and landed on my back so I am sure that is part of it, sitting at my desk it just not that comfortable. I am doing fine now...just feeling a bit off this past week.
I have one card to share for 2 challenges, Colour Me #67 and showCASe your style #13. I was inspired by Tracey's card here. Joyce was sweet enough to send me a bunch of die cuts from her incredible collection and I love this one...so pretty.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

Wanted to add a few photos from our day in San Francisco for Record Store Day...so much and looking forward to next year! Record Store Day at Amoeba is amazing, so much fun chatting with all the other crazy people in line collecting special edition vinyl. Happy there is a Whole Foods market across the street, yummy food and coffee and even more important....a clean bathroom!

The line went all the way around the block! The first people in line camped out! Way too cold for us to do that but next year we need to leave at least an hour earlier! We were about 15 people back from the front of the line.
It gets crazy inside...and it takes almost an hour to get through the line...but Ashleigh was quick!
All of the purchases from the day!

  5. Kim, your card is stunning!! I love that intricate background die. The tone-on-tone white makes it subtle, but all the intricate details add so much to your design. Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Colour Me challenge this week! :)

  8. First of all...ouch! A back injury is not fun! And yes, it's a real bugger trying to sit when you're in pain. Nice to hear that you are on the mend pal! Sending tons and tons of healing power your way!

Special edition vinyl...you rocker you! Thing is, I'd likely do the same thing...for Bingo that is! DH has a box full of 'old records' that he refuses to toss. Likely some valuable stuff there. Should maybe check it out!

Ooops....got sidetracked...your card - GOR-GEE-OUS! The butterfly die is so dainty and so pretty! Love the velum overlays and the stunning background die!

  10. Your day sounds wonderful, Kim! I'm terribly sorry to hear of your nasty fall, but I'm glad your back was better by the weekend. It wouldn't have been fun standing for that long otherwise. It's so neat that you have this tradition with Ashleigh!! In the meantime, you managed to create a gorgeous and very feminine pink card!! I love it! The butterflies with their pearl necklaces look like they are going out for tea at the Biltmore!! Hugs, Darnell

This card is a stunner-love the pinks and the sentiment in black is the perfect choice, it seems to compliment the pretty pinks x

  16. That sounds like so much fun!! Did you find anything new or did you get the artists you were after? Fifteen from the front of the line is pretty good, imagine being around the block...eeek! Can't say I've ever camped out for anything before but nothing that exciting happens in little old Blenheim. Love the way you used the colours on your card and those butterflies always look perfect. Really hope your looking after yourself too. My Mum has had a really bad knee for the past few weeks and finally talked her into going back to the doctor. Taking her for x-rays and blood tests tomorrow (she might have an infection) and will go and stay with her this weekend as she can hardly walk at all. We can chat while I do all her housework etc and she loves watching me make cards, so all will be good. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Gorgeous card ... delicate, soft and beautifully feminine! Hugs & Bisous, Anita :)
