Get Creative #18 - Must use Flowers

Happy Monday...hoe you had a fabulous and fun weekend. I have one card to share today for the new challenge at Get Creative, the theme is must use flowers and the design team is using digital images from our sponsor The Stampers Boutique. There are some fun posies on the little bug but I thought adding a yellow one on the outside of my shaker would pull in the yellow seed beads (they are so much fun to play with). I hope you will fine the time to play along with us...always love seeing your wonderful creations.

I have more new followers to welcome...I am just over the moon excited to share my 4 newest followers with you. Donna K from @Studio 307, Fit Kitty, Kimberly Fordyce and D-
I could not find blogs for the last 3 ladies, so please send me your links and I will update this. Thank you so much for being my newest followers, I am so honored!

I did find a bit of time last week to make a new blouse...I love the orange fabric and it was pretty quick to make too.

Ingredients

  2. What a fun & happy shaker card with this cute little flower bug. Love the circle shape and those vibrant polka dots. Just the right card to brighten a summer's day. Tucking the extra posy at the circle edge was a cute design touch too. Loved your lovely orange blouse. How pretty it looks with the black slax, and would be great with white as well. You're so talented!!! TFS & have a great week.

  8. We all love a sweet lady named Kim
Who could cut, stitch, sew, stamp and pin

She could whip up a blouse in under an hour
Bake dozens of cupcakes to take to a shower

Or hem a gown for a sweet bride-to-be
With stitches so small, we'd all struggle to see

Or craft up a card so totally cool
With Mickey & Minnie, yep they rule

A smile so sweet, a soul so kind
A better stamper would be hard to find!

....awesome card.....awesome blouse! You're soooooo amazing!

  12. WOW!! I LOVE this fun shaker. Did you glue your beads like that or was that just the way it happened when you photographed it? I LOVE that blouse. I am so jealous. I really want to be able to sew!!

  13. Wow to your adorable car and those fabulous little beads. They make an incredible shaker element, and I love the repetition of circles from your border to your shaker beads. I love love love your blouse too. You are so amazingly talented--If I could sew a blouse like that, I would make 10 of them, and never go clothes shopping ever again. Can you please bring your sewing machine over to my house???

  14. This is so cute and love those little beads. Must get some of those but can imagine I will be losing them all over the place. And your blouse looks like it was bought from a store, its impeccable!! Beautiful colour too. So wish I could sew. I took Home Ec. at school but got an E in sewing as I constantly jammed the sewing machine. Just not mean't to be, so can really appreciate your skill!

  17. Oh my...I'm just going to echo what everyone else has said (especially Geri, our resident poet!) on how delightful your card is and how beautiful your blouse! I can't sew a stitch (well...cross-stitch I can do, but you know what I mean....) so your skills have me incredibly awed!
    Hugs~c
