Happy Little Stampers - July Sketch Challenge


Hello...can you believe it is July 1st....where has the year gone? Well I am happy as a calm that it is the first of July, it means that I am posting my first challenge card with the Happy Little Stampers family, what a fabulous honor to be part of this amazing group of talented ladies. 

I don't have many tree stamps but the one I do have, I've had it forever and finally get to put it to good work. So happy that I have my MISTI too, made all the difference in the world in getting a clean image. I wanted to keep my card as CAS as possible and thought this would make a great thank you card for my students at school. I will be making more of these and change up the colors.

I hope you will find the time to play along with us, you have all month to play and I am really looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations.

    Kim, this is such a sweet card! The tree image is adorable with the little tree swing and children.
    I just ordered a misti for an early birthday gift and can't wait for it too arrive. I can see where it would be handy on an image with such detail.

    What a perfect thank you card for your students. I love this particular image, and especially the way you used it with this sketch. The twine and colored card base are wonderful ways to bring color into your scene.

    Oh, my, Kim, this brings back some happy memories! My grandma had a swing in a big tree and I spent many happy times "flying" in that swing! Congratulations on making the DT!

    Such a lovely debut card! The wee bit of twine adds the perfect amount of 'soft bling' without stealing the limelight from the fabulous image! Looking forward to many more Happy Little Stamper creations :)
