Hello and happy Sunday. I spent the day with a very dear friend of mine, we are working on a quilt together for a friend of hers. I am crossing my fingers she won't be upset that I am posting a couple of photos. We really had a blast, spent more time laughing than sewing to be honest with you.
Arlene trying to thread her bobbin, that only took forever, just kidding!
lunch out at Togo's, ate healthy, had a salad.
Day 2's challenge was to take a piece of clothing and use it to inspire a card. I choose a sweater from my last Stitch Fix box that I love, this has to be the warmest sweater I have ever had and it is so soft too. I love this sweater die and somewhere along the line I lost the dies for the collar and cuff so I just improvised.
Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: Michael's - White and PTI - Pure Poppy
Stamps: PTI - Background Basics: Striped Sweater
Dies: PTI - Sweater and MFT - Stitched Heart
Ink: VersaFine - Black and SU - Real Red
Gorgeous sweater and fabulous card - you could almost wear it ;). Sound like a fun challenge, but I was too busy with DT cards....Thankfully I am not interested in the Super Bowl...

OKAY....this is soooooooooooo awesome! Your images are flawless! Wish I could knit like this! My scarves (the only thing I ever knit) would go from holes big enough to fit a cannonball to making the needles squeak!
