Hello....Happy Tuesday! Today there is a beautiful new color palette at ColourQ #351, I hope you will find some time to play along with us. These colors are just so beautiful and I loved playing with them. I pulled out PTI's Fancy Tea Cup die and backed it with some shiny gold card stock. I love these painted flowers from PTI and thought they would look pretty sitting in the tea cup.
I have been spending a lot of time sewing and not too much time playing with cards. I found this wonderful handbag pattern online and just love it. It is fun to make, learned a few new techniques too. I cut out quite a few, went through 10 yards of interfacing if that gives you some idea of how many I am making. Most of them are in Disney fabric but I have a few that are not. What do you think?
Loving that card!!! Gorgeous flowers!! And your bag is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have used these colours beautifully! Such inspiration...I hope to make time to play along!
ReplyDeleteThese bags you are making...wow! You are creating in a big way! Lovely ❤️😘
Great card, but I also love your bags! Very cool!! You are multi-talented!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards with lovely touches of gold. I adore the bags, such a lot of fun and so very clever, I can't see for toffee! I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog so many times whilst I was on hols, I really appreciate your kind words x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kim and such fun bags.
ReplyDeleteFirst, your card is fabulous. I love how you have the flowers overflowing from the teacup. (which I have and have NEVER used!!! I need to remedy that!!) Second, I LOVE that bag!! Is that fabric or a type of paper fabric Kim? It looks so cool!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing sewing, as usual. That bag looks fantastic. I LOVE the bag you made for me, and bring it everywhere. Love your card for our challenge this week--the gold accents look wonderful on those flowers.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers do look pretty in your teacup! This is lovely Kim. Your handbag is adorable!! Love the polka dots and Minnie Mouse on the inside!!
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing with cards and fabric!! That pattern looks like so much fun... great bag!! And I love this card... awesome colors... hope I can play when I get home from vacation!!
ReplyDeleteWell, the card is gorgeous Kim! You know I am in awe of all your sewing and the bags look great! You got me hooked on the dump bags last year. Love it all!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh these colors are just gorgeous together! Nicely done! LOVE the bag! Great fabric. Someday I'm going to learn to sew - it's on my bucket list! Enjoy those VIP passes and bathrooms :o). Hugs D
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Kim. I need to get some sewing done, too. Nothing as fancy as yours but school bags for needy children. When I made handbags (for myself) I ended up putting in a second inside pocket to hold my sunglasses. I always wear them and was tired of trying to find them in the bottom.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS card! AMAZING bags!!! 10 yards of interfacing - can definitely relate to that as I likely have 9 million yards sitting in my 'sewing stuff' that hasn't seen the light of day for years! I love the shape of the bags!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors on your card - the gold looks amazing!
I'd say you are totally enjoying your summer holiday! Wish I could retire and have 365 days a year to do whatever my heart desires!
Miss Kim

Purple(or lilac) and teal always make a cool color pair up, and I love the navy blue tucked in along with this palette. Very pretty & summery card. Love your bag too. That would look great in nearly any fabric, but a great gift for a Mickey lover. Be a good way to carry your craft tools to a group meeting as well. Wonderful as a gift too. You are SO talented! TFS & Hugs
