The Card Concept #73

Hello....popping in with one card for the new challenge at The Card Concept #73. When I saw this weeks inspiration photo I was really stumped, this is so totally not my style of card making, but knew I had to come up with something. One of the teachers I used to work with before she retired husbands passed away unexpectedly and needed a sympathy card and thought this inspiration would work. I hope you will find some time to play along with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!

I used some pages from an old book from Italy for the frame. Thank you Joyce!

  8. I love your clean and simple lines. I've been scavenging for old books to buy so I can use the pages and this makes me want to find one even more. I really want to find an old dictionary! Well Done!

  12. Even though it's not your usual style you managed to step out of your comfort zone and make a truly beautiful sympathy card. I find those hard to do and I'm not sure I'd manage to make such a card in a style I'm not that familiar with. So great job! And I really love that blue color with Kraft and aged paper color.
