CASology #60 - Apple

Just a quick post for today, it has been a busy week and I was happy to find time to get a card made for this week. This week's cue card for CASology is "apple" and I always try to go with the first idea that pops into my head when I see the cue card.  So for apple it was Snow White, I am a huge Disney fan and my sister's favorite movie of all time has always been Snow White. I emailed her for quote I could print up from my computer and then add my shiny apple.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card...have a great week!

June 2012 - Four of a Kind Challenge

Can you believe it has already been a month since out last challenge??? Time sure does fly faster the older you get. Each month one of the four of us, Cathy - Empty Nest Crafter, Joyce - Cards-by-the-Sea, Renee - It's A Patchwork Life and myself plays hostess and kit maker and mails out the same to kit to everyone and then we use those supplies to make cards or projects.  It is always amazing how different they are all for each other with using the same supplies.  There have been a few times that cards made that have been almost identical too.  This month I am the hostess and I decided to pull out some stamps that have not seen too much love.  PTI's Fruit Fusion are 6 sets of different fruit (apples, cherries, watermelon, pears, grapes and strawberries) and patterned paper to coordinate.  I only have three of the fruits that were released, apples, grapes and cherries, so those are the stamps I used for my kits.

Supply Kit

I found these cute little Mary Engelbreit tins in the dollar bins at Target and when I saw spring and planting on them I thought this would be the perfect way to send off the dies, buttons and ribbon.  So here are my cards, I made six and still have plenty of supplies left over for another challenge later in the year.  Be sure to check out all of the creations on all four blogs, links are listed below the photos.  Thanks for taking a peek!
