Clearly Besotted #2 -Seeing Spots, Moxie Fab - Birthday Card and Lunch with Blog Friends

This is my second post of the day but I really wanted to share my lunch photo's with you. I love it when you actually get to meet your blog friends in person...this is not the first time I have had lunch with these 2 lovely ladies, Darnell from djkardkreations and Harriet from Ally Cat Cards, we always have a good time and today was no exception. We had a wonderful lunch and laughed so much, at times I had tears running down my cheeks. So many funny stories where shared and crafting likes and dislikes, just lots of fun. I had to take a picture of my lunch too, the crepes are the best on the planet at my favorite little coffee shop, Frodo Joe's. I am looking forward to our next meeting in August.

Ok, now I am on to my card...one card for two challenges, Clearly Besotted and Moxie Fab. This is the first time playing along with Clearly Besotted Challenge, the theme is seeing spots and Moxie Fab challenge is birthday cards, it was a fun card to make and you can't go wrong with polka dots!

ColourQ #194 - Take Two

Just a real quick post with a second card for this week's ColourQ Challenge #194. We have had a busy weekend so not too much crafting time...yesterday we spent the day at Shoreline in Mt. View for an all day rock concert, Van's Warp Tour and had a wonderful time but the weather was warm and by the time we arrived home I was beat! Today I met a girl friend for tea and had a lovely lunch, I always love going for tea, a great way to spend time with a sweet friend. I needed to get this card finished so I can pop it in the mail for some our friends wedding anniversary. I love these Camellia's from Waltzingmouse stamped on polka dots, it really makes the flowers shine! Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my card...have a great day!

Happy Birthday Cathy - Blog Hop

I am not sure if you are a chocolate lover or not but this cake was so beautiful I had to use it. If we lived closer I would love to make one for you.

Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea was so sweet to organize this birthday blog hop for Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter. If you do not know who Cathy is you have to check out her blog, she is one crafty lady! Her work is simply amazing. I had the pleasure of actually meeting Cathy last July while visiting Joyce for Stamp-A-Faire, it is a real treat to get to meet some of your cyber and blog friends. I used one of my new stamps for Cathy's birthday card, it is from Clearly Besotted Stamps and I even CAS'd one of Stephanie's cards. Her card is why I wanted this set and it goes so well with patterned paper.
