I pulled out the camera Leading Lady from Ellen Hutson for my tag and used the Scored Tag form Neat & Tangled. Added a bit of polka dots and some yellow sequins to finish it off.

I love St. Patrick's Day and my tag will be attached to a mason jar filled with green M&M's. Hello...it's Monday again and time for another Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #257. This week's inspiration is adding a tag to your card. I pulled out Serendipity Stamps Christmas Tree Farm stamp, just love the beautiful scene. I added some Wink of Stella to the snow but it is difficult to see in the photos. I had so much fun making this card. I used Neat & Tangled Score Lined tag and the ribbon is from my stash. Color Trowndown #425 -- Featured Stamper

Hello...hope the new year is going well for you. I am back to work after a nice long break, had time to be crafty, lots of cleaning and getting caught up on lots of things that I have been letting get by me. It's a great way to start the new year!

I won challenge #423 at Color Throwdown, you can see the post here. I was so excited to win and to be asked to be their Featured Stamper for challenge #425. The colors are amazing and I thought they went perfectly with Neat & Tangled Scandinavian Prints. I used my new Gina K inks (thank you Ardyth), love all the wonderful colors!

Retro Sketches #73 and Little Tangles #17 - Into the Woods

Happy Tuesday...hope everyone is having a fabulous week! I have 2 cards to share today, one for RetroSketches and one for Little Tangles, this is my first time playing with Neat & Tangled.  I am also happy to say that both of my cards have one of more NBUS too.  So much fun pulling out the new goodies. My first card is for RetroSketches #73 and as soon as I saw this week's sketch I knew I needed to make a baseball card and crossed my fingers that no one else came up with the same idea.  Since I am a SF Giants fan I decided to go with their color scheme, black and orange.  

My next card is for this week's Little Tangles - Into the Woods.  I only have a few of their stamps and we so happy to see that one of them was wood grain.  I decided to use it to make a tree and cut the branches using Lucy, but the tree looked a bit bare so I pulled out resting birds die from MB and that seemed to do the trick.  The background paper is from Pebbles, Walnut Grove, I loved the look of the banners strung up behind my tree.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...have a wonderful week!

Just for Fun

Happy Sunday...hope you all are having a relaxing day.  My day was fun, after church went to lunch with some girlfriends, then back home and made a card, then off to my mom's dance recital. She has been tap dancing for what seems like forever.  I love watching her dance up on stage, she is very good and it makes me smile, I am so proud of her.  Now I am back at home and posting my card and chatting with stamping friends on FaceBook, it does not get much better than this!

My card is just for fun, no challenges at all this time.  In fact I fell in love with a card that Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea made yesterday that I wanted to make one of my own.  It is just about exactly the same other than hers is a congratulations card and I made mine a birthday card.  I had to show Ashleigh what I made because it turned out so cute...well she loved it and kept shaking the card so that is why some of the sequins block parts of my sentiments...leave it to kids!
