Well, it's the 17th of the month again and that means it is time for the Waltzingmouse blog party! This month's theme is Spring Flowers but I do not have any stamps from WM that are flowers so my sweet friend Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea was kind enough to stamp some off and drop them in the mail to me. She recently won this set from WM, Camellia and it is a beautiful set, the flowers are so easy to fussy cut too. I cut out 3 of the flowers Joyce sent and layered them in the Lil Inkers Polaroid frame. I have never used this color of card stock, Lavender Moon before, it really is a very pretty color so I was happy that Joyce make the color selection for me. I paired the flowers with a piece of patterned paper that another sweet friend sent me, Renee from It's A Patchwork Life, it is so nice to have crafty friends who share! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and peek at my card...have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteI would have commented on how much I liked your card 10 minutes ago, but I was drooling! This is sooo gorgeous. Tucking the flowers inside and outside of the frame is brilliant. Love the colors, the papers, the design, heck, I love everything about this card!!! Bev
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I love the soft pink and black you used with the touch of white for that fabulous sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSweet fussy cutting Kim! Like Bev, I'm all over lovin' how you tucked the flower in and out of the frame. Clever ideas like this are what always make your cards so interesting, unique and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is so very very pretty. You know, I was excited to see what you did, because I used the same flowers I sent you. Kind of a secret, mini, 2-of-a-kind, that you didn't even know you were playing. How fun that we both thought of that instant camera frame--I love how you figured out how to use 3 of the flowers, and added that ribbon. Your embossed sentiment is so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteKim this is fabulous, I love how you framed those flowers in and out of the frame and the pretty background papers!
