Transformation Tuesday

Good Morning...popping in with my card for this week's Transformation Tuesday. I choose to do a re-make of this card using Gran's Garden from PTI. I added more flowers and changed up the colors to be more fallish (I don't think that is really a word but if fits). I have to say this is by far my favorite flower stamp set that I own, they are so beautiful and really look wonderful in almost any color pairing.
Update on my hand, the cast came off last Tuesday and card making is coming back slow but sure. The surgery was successful, I no longer have pain or numbness in my hand. Still can't lift heavy items but each day I have more strength and feel great. Thank you so much for the well wishes and sweet cards.

The 12 Kits of Occasions - October Edition

It is almost Halloween and also the end of the month so that means it is time for our 12 Kits of Occasion's post. This month our hostess with the mostess is Jessica from Paper Parade and what an amazing kit she sent out. I could not wait to play with my kit but I wanted to save it for my trip to Minnesota and I have to say the my blogging friends loved getting a little bit of a sneak peek. The colors and images from Jessica's kit were just perfect for the setting I was in, fall all over the place, every where you turned, it was just beautiful and so much inspiration for my cards. Happy Birthday Jeanne!!!

Surprise Jeanne!!! Happy Birthday

Once again, Joyce the party planner extraordinaire is at it again. Today she has organized a surprise party for Jeanne.  Jeanne thought she was the sly one, giving lots of us the wrong date for her special day, but we could not be fooled!  I am sure you all know how Jeanne is, each one of her cards is a masterpiece, an amazing work of art! Waltzingmouse Blog Party - September 2012

It's time again for the Waltzingmouse Blog Party and I am so happy that I had my card ready to go a few days early...I hate to be late to the party. This month's theme is Fall and Claire gave us an incredible photo to for inspiration...I made a card for this week's sketch challenge thinking the theme was the holidays but I was wrong and so happy I went back and read what she wrote about this month's party.  One of the last sets I purchased from WM was Teeny Trees and really have not had the chance to play with it too much. When I realized the theme was fall I knew just what I wanted to do with this set.  I love all of the sweet tree options you get with this set and I used the ones that are my favorites. I love the stick trunks and branches and the options you have with all of the different leaves, just so much fun.
