PTI - Make It Monday - Matchbook Valentines

Happy Friday...a quick post for this week's Make It Monday with PTI. I love this idea of matchbook Valentines, so fun and so clever. I was trying to figure out a quick way to make little Valentine's Day treats for my students this year and this is so perfect! To make it quick I pulled out PTI's February Monthly Moments journal cards, cut them in half that there you have it and no stamping either. I taped a sweet treat inside and I am finished! I will mass produce the rest later but I am just happy to have the idea.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: PTI - Autumn Rose
Patterned Paper: PTI - Monthly Moments - February

Simply Create Too #91 - Anything Goes

Happy Friday....hoping you had a wonderful week! Another quick post with my card for the Anything Goes challenge at Simply Create Too #91. I made this card last month while I was visiting Joyce, Marybeth and Cathy and completely forgot to post it. It was so much fun to use stamps/dies (thank you for sharing Marybeth) that I don't have.  I hope you will find the time to play along with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

Simply Create Too

I made a quick little note pad for this week's PTI's Make It Monday #220. I made mine a bit bigger than the one featured. I wanted a wee bit more room to write on.

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #217 Make Your Own Borders

Hello...if you have not watched this week's MIM video by Laurie you need to take a few minutes to do it, the link is here. What a very cool idea of making your own border! This was so much fun and I can't wait to make more. When I saw Laurie's soccer balls, I thought ohhhh, I can use baseballs and use PTI's 7th Inning Stretch. It is the perfect set for this technique but like Laurie says you can really use any stamp! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

I finished my daughter's plaid flannel blouse today...I love the fabric, Britex hands down has the best plaid flannel around.

I also have 2 new followers that I would like to welcome...Corinna from Corinna Coffee & Creations and SmilynStef from Jingle Bells. Be sure to check out both of these talented ladies blog, they are both amazing! Thank you two again, I am so honored!

Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: Michael's - White and PTI - Pure Poppy

Colour Me #62 and Papertrey Ink's MIM #204

Hope your weekend is a fun one...I spent most of my day hemming a wedding gown, 4+ hours to be exact and I am almost finished, maybe another hour or two. There are 7 layers to this gown and I have 2 1/2 to go. I have to say it has been so much fun working with this beautiful fabric.

I have 2 cards to share today. The first is for the current challenge at Colour Me. This weeks colors are so beautiful...shades of green, beautiful green. So I made a St. Patrick's Day village. This is the first time I have pulled out the dies from City Scene by PTI. I could never line up the stamps, so why bother...but now that I have my wonderful MISTI (and thank you Marybeth for the fabulous tip too).

My second card is for this week's Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday. I have not played along in some time and I wanted to try out this "smooshing" technique. So much fun, but I will say that I messed up several times, almost ready to give up but I didn't. I only used one color and will try this again another day.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Papertrey Ink - Make it Monday #182 Mason Jar Stamping

Just a quick post for Sunday...there are two post season games on today that I will be watching and being crafty too. My sweetie bought me a 5lb. bag of peanuts, hope they will last until the World Series is over, with 18 inning/6 hour games you just never know...LOL

I have a jar to share with you today for this weeks Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday. Painting the jars was easy, I have 4 made to use as Halloween treats for friends, 2 black and 2 orange. The stamping portion was not so easy with the curved edges of the jar, so parts of my spiders are missing but I still love the look of the silver spiders on the black jar.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Two more cards for Sunday....

I really have 6 cards to share but I only made 2 of them. First the 2 cards I made...the first one is from this week's Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday #164. I went through all my stamps looking for images that would work and I thought this graduation cap would be just perfect...I am also entering this card in the current challenge at Colour Me #20.

My second card is for ColourQ, challenge #241. I made 2 cards last night and unfortunately they both hit the trash, hate when that happens...I love these colors but could not get them to work for me to save my life. So today I pulled out my newest die, these beautiful butterflies from SSS, so fun to play with and I have a card to share.

My next four cards were made by Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter. They are from my families husband kit. There are 4 of us who made cards for one another's hubby and children so we would be able to received cards for our special occasions, like Mother's Day, anniversary and birthday.

It is such a treat to receive such beautiful cards on those special days...thank you again Cathy!
